For professional esports organisations

Focus, measured.

APM, reaction times, in-game events: all tracked already. What happens in the player’s head is not. We build a 16-channel EEG wearable that measures focus and cognitive load during practice.

Problem

The mind goes unmeasured

Esports keeps professionalising, but performance optimisation has hit a limit. Physical and mechanical metrics are captured without gaps, in-game data even more so. The brain is not.

Cognitive overload, unnoticed loss of focus, mental burnout: coaches see the consequences but not the cause. What is missing is an objective instrument that works during daily practice.

Solution

A wearable with software built for it

A non-invasive 16-channel EEG wearable built for professional esports. It measures brain activity in real time and turns it into metrics coaches can work with.

Hardware

The mask

16 channels, polymer dry electrodes without gel, up to ten hours of runtime. The prototype weighs 500 grams. What we are working on: under 200 grams and a fit that works together with common gaming headsets, so the mask stops being noticeable even after eight hours of practice.

Software

The coach dashboard

A desktop app shows the whole roster at once. Focus and cognitive load per player, live. An API feeds the values into the analytics tools you already run.

Value

What organisations get out of it

  1. Flow state becomes trainable

Neurofeedback mirrors athletes’ own state back to them. They learn to steer towards it instead of waiting for a good day.

  2. Spot burnout and tilt earlier

Cognitive overload shows up on the dashboard before it costs a match. Training load and breaks can be adjusted accordingly.

  3. Decisions backed by data

Coaches see which routines actually move their players’ performance. Instinct gets a second opinion.
